Great to see that you are still going from strength to strength. This is a blast from the past from a very old member with very precious memories. Producer of The Mikado 1974, Iolanthe 1975, and Kismet 1975 when life took me away from the area. Best of wishes to all those who are still carrying the Banner.

Greetings from Canadad, I was browsing your site, having lived in Redditch in the late '60s I was interested in the photo's from your production of Guys and Dolls (2002). I noticed a Maurice Clarke playing the grandfather, was this the same Maurice that used to entertain us at work (W.H. Rooke) with renditions of the Mikado and one I especially remember, Pirates of Penzance. On closer inspection, yes it was, a little older perhaps but aren't we all? If anyone reads this, please say hello to Maurice for me, he is one of those unforgetable characters that cross your path once in a while.

Just to say what a fanatstic job has been made of the revamped web site. It all looks so exciting. I particularly like the listed shows reviews and photographs. Also I love the scrolling pictures across the top of the site, they are very eye catching ! Good luck to all the company for the Spring Concert of "Night at the movies". Hopefully I will be able to catch one of the shows. I know I will enjoy the show, as they are always brilliant. Well Done TJ on all your hard work on the site. Regards to you all Anne and WTC.

Love your site! I am originally a Redditch boy, but now live in Canada. Congratulations, Pearl Taylor, for winning the 2004 Norman Wheeler Memorial Award. Please - any members reading this - give Aunty Pearl a big hug for me from her nephew in Canada.

Hi everyone!!! I hope you remember me! I left the society 4 years ago to go to uni. I bumped into Bob Taylor last night and he told me your next show will be 42nd street and I'm very interested in returning to take part. Any idea when rehersals start? I'm hoping to get to the concerts so if I don't hear from you I'll get some more info then. Will I need to audition to get back into the society? See you all soon!

Hi friends! I was interested to read in your September newsletter that you have recently had a successful recruitment drive for new members! Well done -- I would be grateful for any tips as to how you did this -- men are notoriously difficult to find who can move in time and stay standing for long periods of time -- never mind being able to sing/dance/act! I am currently busy with three shows.. Keving in Privates on Parade by Peter Nichols at the end of March, Harold Hill in The Music Man at the end of April, and Bill Snibson in Me and My Girl in the middle of June. Phew! Wish me luck. All the best with Carousel folks..

My wife and I have been opera fans for many years and have attended many at TPAC. However there is one that we are have trouble identifying. In the movie "Philadelphia" with Tom Hanks and Denzel Washington, Maria Callas sings an aria that,to me, is the most beautiful aria I've ever heard. It is so unfamiliar to us we can't identify the opera - can you help please.

Hello. Please pass on my details to Norma Kift. I would very much like to hear from her. I played drums for many of the societies productions over the years. Through absolutely no fault of my own I don't play for you know which makes me quite sad as I made many friends there in Redditch. Please ask Norma to E mail me. Best Wishes.Paul Shepherd. My husband was born in Redditch and we have visited often. He is a trained tenor ( his father was Welsh) and he used to sing quite a bit. He doesn't do too much now as our lifestyle is much too busy. (we own a travel agency) I was just playing on the internet and entered Reddich, that's how I found you... Next time we are visiting we will have to come to a production..

I have just found your web site. Brings back fond childhood memories when I used to go to your productions. Several of my fathers' relatives were involved with Astwood Bank Society and also with the Redditch one as well. I am glad that the society is going from strength to strength and if I still lived in Redditch I would still go to see the productions.
