Favourite Performance Award - Nominations 2026
Voting period: 2 to 23 April (three weeks)
Our Favourite Performance Award (aka Alan Leadbeater Award) is where YOU vote for your favourite leading or featured performance from last year’s show. It is our version of an Oscar!
The nominations process this year takes place between the dates shown above. During this time, every paid-up member of the society, plus existing Friends of ROS and Life Members may submit their nominations, using the form below.
This process will determine the four (or five, if tied) nominees for the Award. The nominees will be announced once all votes have been counted, shortly after 23 April. As always, the final winner will be decided by secret ballot by all members attending our AGM (Tue 19 May 2026).
Please note that only paid-up members of the Society can participate in this process. Our membership year started back on 1 March. So, unless you are a Life Member or existing Friend of ROS, then we ask you to pay this year’s membership subscription in the next three weeks, so your vote can be taken into account. Thank you.
How to pay your 2026/27 membership fees
Membership fees remain at just £25 per person (or £15 for the low-waged).

This does not necessarily mean the biggest, or most prominent roles. It is those performances that YOU enjoyed the most. Everyone who played a featured character in the show is automatically included in the list. And YES, you can vote for yourself!
