Spring Events 2025
We have organised six social events for our Members and Friends of ROS, and we hope you will be able to join us for as many of these as possible. Family and friends are welcome, too. As always, all events are subsidised by the society.

Tue 18 March 2025 7.30pm – Core Dance Workshop

An evening for everyone, no matter what your dance skills. Amongst other things, we’ll concentrate on core dance steps such as stance and posture, using some basic ballet techniques.

Conducted for us by a professional singer and vocal coach with over 35 years’ experience, this will be a hugely valuable session that will benefit all members, regardless of experience. We will cover areas such as warm up techniques, mind space and motivation, vocal limits, finding the fullest voice, sound with movement, microphone techniques and usage and, time permitting, a Q&A session.
Run by Emma Winscom BA (Hons), LTCL, F Mus Ed TCL, FISM.

Come and support our friends in Studley Operatic Society on the opening night of their big show for this year.
Palace Theatre, Redditch
Tue 15 April 2025 7.30pm – Worcester Ghost Walk

A two-hour private ghost walk of Worcester, conducted just for us, will lead us through gates normally locked and doors usually bolted to learn of ghostly experiences and historical facts of one of the most haunted and historical cities in Britain.
With entry to some of Worcester’s most iconic buildings, and an entertaining guide, it will be a great night out and lots of fun for all ages, guaranteed!
Make your own way there (share cars!). Full details of where to park/meet will be provided before the event.

Tue 29 April 2025 7.30pm – Indian Meal

Come and enjoy a slap-up Indian meal amongst friends. The deal includes poppadom + starter + main meal + rice/naan, and you’ll be able to choose practically anything from the menu! Drinks not included, but you can either buy yours at the restaurant or bring your own.

Tue 6 May 2025 7.30pm – A Chorus Line Dance Workshop

A Chorus Line is not likely to be a show ROS will ever present, but the big finale (‘One’) is a musical theatre classic. Come and become a ‘singular sensation’ in the chorus line. Fun for everyone, regardless of dance ability. All welcome. Hats provided!
